Booking & Date Confirmation

When you book a Wudang Retreat, you will be asked to select your preferred start date.

Your selected date is a preferred date and is subject to availability. After receiving your booking, our team will contact you personally to confirm your retreat dates.

If your preferred dates are unavailable, we will work with you to find suitable alternative dates.

We recommend waiting until your retreat dates have been confirmed by our team before making non-refundable travel arrangements.

72-Hour Booking Grace Period

We want you to feel comfortable when making your decision.

You may cancel your booking within 72 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided your retreat has not already begun.

After the 72-hour grace period, the cancellation terms below apply.

Cancellation by the Guest

If your plans change after your retreat dates have been confirmed, the following cancellation policy applies:

Cancellation before confirmed start date Refund

30 days or more 100% refund

15–29 days 50% refund

8–14 days 20% refund

7 days or less Non-refundable

Refund percentages apply to the retreat fees paid to Wudang Retreat.

Any non-refundable transaction or payment-processing fees charged by third-party payment providers may be deducted from the refunded amount where applicable.

Changing Your Retreat Dates

We understand that international travel plans can change.

If you need to change your confirmed retreat dates:

15 days or more before arrival
You may make one date change free of charge, subject to availability.

8–14 days before arrival
You may make one date change free of charge, subject to availability. Your rescheduled retreat should normally take place within 12 months of your original start date.

7 days or less before arrival
Date changes will be considered on a case-by-case basis, as accommodation, teaching and other retreat arrangements may already have been committed.

Additional date changes may be considered subject to availability and any costs already incurred.

If Wudang Retreat Cannot Accommodate Your Dates

If Wudang Retreat is unable to accommodate your confirmed retreat dates, we will first work with you to arrange suitable alternative dates.

If no suitable alternative can be agreed, you may choose to receive a full refund of all retreat fees paid to Wudang Retreat.

Our responsibility is limited to payments made directly to Wudang Retreat. We are not responsible for costs relating to flights, trains, visas, insurance, hotels, or other travel arrangements booked independently.

Late Arrival, Early Departure & No-Shows

If you arrive after your confirmed retreat start date or choose to leave before the end of your retreat, unused retreat days are generally non-refundable.

Guests who do not arrive for their confirmed retreat without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and the booking will be non-refundable.

Where circumstances are exceptional, please contact us. We will always try to find a reasonable solution where possible.

Travel Disruptions & Exceptional Circumstances

International travel can sometimes be affected by circumstances outside your control.

If serious illness, significant travel disruption, visa issues, or other exceptional circumstances affect your ability to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where possible, we will first try to help you reschedule your retreat rather than cancel it. Any exception to the standard cancellation policy will be considered individually and is not guaranteed.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel disruption and other unexpected circumstances.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.

Please allow time for the refund to be processed and for your bank or payment provider to credit the funds to your account.

Any timing shown by your bank or payment provider is outside the control of Wudang Retreat.

Payment Plans

If your booking is made using a payment plan, the payment schedule shown at checkout forms part of your booking.

If a booking is cancelled, any refund due will be calculated according to this Booking & Cancellation Policy and the amounts already paid.

Where applicable, future scheduled payments will be cancelled once your cancellation has been confirmed by Wudang Retreat.
